Caleb Warnock's Book

I enjoy listening to Podcasts (originally called this because you could put them on an iPod or other MP3 player - you don't need to know what that means to enjoy listening to them, it just meant that you could take the talk with you to listen to away from your computer). You can learn about new things, be exposed to new ideas, listen to others experiences and hear talks that you can't see in person. I like to check out the Cricket and Seagull Fireside Chat Podcasts every week. The topics vary from ancient text symposia to yoga, including music, new books of interest to LDS audiences. Finding new artists, authors or speakers is a fun sidelight of listening to the podcasts. This last week Steven Capp Perry interviewed Caleb Warnock about his new book, "The Forgotten Skills of Self-Sufficency Used by Mormon Pioneers." Direct Link to Podcast Lots of interesting ideas, I look forward to reading the book. Link about the book release on the author's blog.
